These images are scanned copies of photos I've been able to obtain over the last 40 years of the Bleier family.

As the Bleier property was foreclosed by the bank after the siblings disappeared, I can only assume that most of their posessions were either given away or destroyed.

I've managed to find traces of them over the years. These are the photos I currently have in my posession.

The Bleier Twins, Alistir (left) and Lucas (right).

This is a younger picture of the twins. I'm lucky to have this photo in the condition it's in.

They are extremely young in this image. My guessimation is that they are around 14 years of age.

Ophelia Bleier

A photograph of Ophelia Bleier (younger sibling of the Twins) that is in extremely good condition.
One of the few that has readable writing on the back.

The notation reads: "Ophelia, first year at Oxford, 1881"

I believe she was 22 at that time.

Amos Bleier

A striking photograph of Amos Bleier.

This image came to me, along with a portrait of Amos' late wife, Aria, through the descendant of a family friend.

They both seem young and in good health in these photos.

Aria Bleier

I believe this photo may have been taken as a precaution. Aria Bleier died of tuberculosis in the mid-1870's — it was thought that she caught it from a single visit to one of the Bleier family coal mines on Vancouver Island. No doubt the sanitation there was lacking. As far as I understand it, Aria's death inspired Amos to found Bleier & Sons Electroforms.

The Bleier Manor

The only image I have of the Bleier Manor. It was originally located outside Victoria, away from the town and somewhat obscured by the then dense woodland in the area. From what I discovered, it was an odd house that was overdeveloped in a handful of strange ways. I heard a few reports that you could never get lost in the woods in that area, as all you had to do was look for the giant gleaming bronze dome through the trees. There was a very large greenhouse on the property that was used to grow various exotic plants. From what little I know, it was a hobby business. Unfortunately, the Manor no longer exists, as nobody wanted to live there. It was rumored to be terribly haunted. It was torn down in the early 1900's.
